I have been teaching preparedness for 10 years. I have volunteered with the American Red Cross as a Disaster Presenter. I have achieved all of the disaster response certifications from the American Red cross. I use to work for Quake Ready, providing education and resources for families.
As a teenager I volunteered with the Civil Air Patrol were I received training on search and rescue. I have also taken community courses on emergency preparedness.
I myself have used my emergency kit during natural disasters I have experienced.
